PURPOSE: To perform thermal sterilization with homogeneous steam by generating homogeneous stream in a sterilizing chamber of a steam-type homogeneously heating sterilizer. CONSTITUTION: This steam-type homogeneously heating sterilizer is provided with a steam blowing-out tube 8 placed on the bottom of the sterilizing chamber 1, a great number of spray nozzles 16 placed close to the side faces of trays 11 placed in the sterilizing chamber and a circulating path 2 through a pump 3 and a heat exchanger 4. Cooling water is supplied to the spray nozzles 16 through the pump 3 and the heat exchanger of the circulating path 2. The path is changed over by changeover valves 12, 13 and the vapor in the sterilizer 1 is circulated and ejected from the spray nozzles 16 through a blower 15. Thus, homogeneous stream of steam is generated in the sterilizing chamber. |
