PURPOSE: To provide a device without useless communication and capable of informing a user of waiting time and unnecessitating re-requests. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an entire reproducing time obtaining part 5 for obtaining the set of the identification information and the entire reproducing time of the moving image data of a moving picture data storage part 2, an elapsed time obtaining part 6 for obtaining the set of the identification information of the respective moving picture data being read in a moving image data read part 3 and elapsed time corresponding to the respective moving image data, a reservation time storage part 9 for retrieving the identification information of the moving image data from the entire reproducing time obtaining part and storing the corresponding entire reproducing time at the time of the standby state of the service of a client part 1, a waiting time calculation part 7 for obtaining the set of the identification information of the respective moving image data and the corresponding elapsed time from the elapsed time obtaining part 6, retrieving the identification information from the entire reproducing time obtaining part 5, obtaining the entire reproducing time in the client part corresponding to the retrieved identification information and then, calculating the waiting time from the set of the entire reproducing time and the elapsed time and the reservation time storage part 9 and a transmission/reception part 8 for receiving the request of the moving image data from the client part 1, transmitting the moving image data to the client part and informing the client part of the waiting time.
