PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress residue of a material to be formed, scattered downward from a roll bale into the roll bale. SOLUTION: The roll baler is equipped with an openable discharge port 9 for discharging a material to be formed into a storage space part 81 in which the material to be formed, scattered downward from the roller bale, is returned. The discharge port 9 opens the bottom part 82 of the storage space part 81 in a relatively large area and the discharge port 9 is clogged by an openable lid 91. The openable lid 91 is constituted so as to open or close the discharge port 9 from the outside of the storage space part 81 and the discharge port 9 is opened or closed by rotatably pivoting one end edge of the openable lid 91 in vertical direction and rotating the pivoting part 92 used as a rotation center.
