PURPOSE: To provide a structure capable of being opened and closed using a simple and inexpensive tool when the use thereof is limited because of the limitation of safety specification in an air conditioner that is opened and closed manually principally aiming at the ease of opening and closing. CONSTITUTION: In a mounting structure of a knob onto a suction grill 3 and in the size and configuration of the knob used for fixing to a decorative panel 2 provided on the suction grill 3, the knob has a size not protruded from the surface of the suction grill 3 and is assembled at a such location, and a groove is provided between the suction grill 3 and the knob for insertion of a rod- shaped tool, and further a stopper 5 is provided such that it is not moved manually whereby the structure is adapted such that the suction grill 3 can not be opened and closed without use of the rod-shaped tool. Accordingly, restriction such as article specifications can be cleared simply and inexpensively without altering a fundamental structure of an opening/closing structure for a suction grill and the like used generally in the prior art and without increasing the number of parts. |
