Human pulse waveform measurement device with pressure cuff

The appts. for measuring human pulse waveforms consists of a pressure cuff (1) fitted to an appropriate body part, and filled with a medium to detect pressure variations due to a pulse signal, and a pressure measurement sensor (2) to convert the pressure variations to an electrical signal. The pressure in the cuff (1) is supplied by a device (8) connected by a valve (20) and piping. The sensor is a piezoelectric device mounted on a membrane, or a strain gauge, capacitive sensor, optoelectronic, inductive or other suitable style.
