New drain-pipes are pulled into old damaged ones which have been widened by a bursting method. The new pipes are pulled in segments through the old and new ones, already installed up to their destination for final installation. Typically the drain-pipes are made of high strength, flexible material. The pipe is longitudinally slit, and one shank contains a longitudinal groove, overlapped on the shank outer-side by a sheet metal baffle. A wheeled chassis may be moved in drain lines and comprises pressure cushion around a support pipe.
