PURPOSE: To prevent an inserted wire from being tightened, and facilitate a wire insertion work by allowing a rubber plug to be retained within a seal holder in positioned state, and absorbing the elastic deformation of the plug with a peripheral groove. CONSTITUTION: This seal holder 12 is used to retain a rubber plug 3 at the time of the external coupling thereof to a wire 1, and has a contact holding section 13 for sandwiching the clamped section 3a of the plug 3. In addition, a peripheral groove 14 is formed on the section 13 for absorbing the elastic deformation of the plug 3 appearing at the time of the insertion of the wire 1 therein. |
