PURPOSE: To provide the auxiliary storage control method which registers data in process of registration in an auxiliary storage device after the power source is turned ON again even if the power source is turned OFF during the registration of the data to the auxiliary storage device. CONSTITUTION: If the power source is turned OFF while the data are registered in the auxiliary storage device 1, a data storage information control 9 detects whether or not the name of the data and position information on its storage area are recorded in a data storage information part 10 after the power source is turned ON again. When they are recorded, a use state control part 5 adds the position information on the used area to a use state storage part 2 on the basis of the information stored in the data storage information part 10 and a data area position registration part 6 adds the name of the data and the position information on its storage area to a data area position storage part 3, so that the data in the middle of registration can be registered. |
