A disposable absorbent garment comprises a pair of elastic side sections, front and back sections, and a continuous, elastic waistband operatively joined thereto. The elastic waistband does not substantially inhibit the elasticity of the elastic side sections, and provides the continuous waistborder with a substantially uniformly, fully gathered appearance. |
