Disclosed is a method for sealing soil formations, wherein a mineral sealing layer consisting of cohesive soil and an additive is deposited on the soil formation and then mechanically compressed, the additive used being dry, sewage or water sludge with a dry substance content of at least 70 wt. % (sludge DS >/= 70) and in quantities of 5 to 50 wt. % sludge dry substance to dry weight of the soil. |
