PURPOSE: To change color from metallic tone by a method wherein water-soluble glue layer, bonding layer, thermochromic layer, metallic pigment layers, which have specified particle size and are produced by covering the surface of natural mica with titanium oxide, and cover coating layer are laminated to one another in the order named. CONSTITUTION: Gold metallic tone pigment is obtained by covering the surface of natural mica having the particle size of 5-60μm with 41-44wt.% of titanium oxide by the covering layer having the optical thickness of 180-240nm. Silver metalescent pigment is obtained by covering the surface of natural mica having the particle size of 5-100μm with 16-39wt.% of titanium oxide by the covering layer having the optical thickness of 110-170nm. Metallic color metalescent pigment is obtained by covering the surface of natural mica having the particle size of 5-60μm with 45-58wt.% of titanium oxide by the covering layer having the optical thickness of 245-415nm. By the synergism of the iris effect developing from the selective interference action of wavelength of visible rays in terms of the weight percentage of titanium oxide covering the surface of natural mica particle, the optical thickness of the covering, particle size ranging 5-100μm and the like, transmitting effect and the reflection absorbing effect of visible rays at the thermochromism layer, the varigated color change of metalescent tone can be realized. |
