PURPOSE: To provide a wire rope for wind regulator capable of improving the durability by decreasing the flexural fatigue caused by fretting abrasion and the abrasion caused by the friction with a guide roller. CONSTITUTION: This wire rope for a wind regulator has 1×W(12)+8×7 structure consisting of one core strand A and eight side strands B twisted on the outer circumference of the core strand. The core strand A has a parallel twist structure composed of 12 element wires A1, A2, A3 collectively twisted in the same directions. A lubricating oil C is filled in the space at the center of the core strand A and the space between the core strand A and the side strands B.
