PURPOSE: To provide a humidifying function without disturbing the decorative property in a room and without necessitating troublesome water feeding work to effect comfortable humidity control by a method wherein a humidifying unit is installed at the outside of the room to absorb small amount of moisture, contained in air, into absorbent efficiently and noiselessly utilizing outside air while only humidified air is discharged into the dried room in winter. CONSTITUTION: A humidifying unit 1, consisting of an absorbent 2, constituted of the honeycomb type formed body of silica gel containing lithium chloride, a heater 3 for heating the absorbent 2, a fan 4 for sending air to the absorbent 2, and a damper 5 for switching the duct of air after passing the absorbent, is installed at the outside of a building. |
