PURPOSE: To cope with expansion and contraction due to heat and a quake, such as an earthquake, by a method wherein a viscous substance damper worked in the direction of a girder is interposed between a column head part and a girder. CONSTITUTION: A viscous substance damper 3 worked in the direction of a girder is interposed between head parts 11 of columns 1 made of prestress concrete are erected on a ground at intervals of a proper distance and girders 2 constructed at the head parts 11. This constitution copes with expansion and contraction and a gentle quake due to the heat of the girder and a rapid quake, such as an earthquake, and eliminates a risk for a drop of the girder. |
