PURPOSE: To improve ink absorbency, printability, and water-resistance by sequentially laminating a dye-fixing/ink absorptive layer and a dye permeable/ ink absorptive layer of special composition, on,at least, plastic film. CONSTITUTION: A recording layer consisting of a dye-fixing/ink absorptive layer and a dye permeable/ink absorptive layer laminated sequentially is applied to, at least, one side of plastic film to form a recording sheet. The dye-fixing/ink absorptive layer is composed mainly of a product of a cross-linking polyalkyleneoxide obtained by chemical reaction between polyalkylene oxide with an average molecular weight of 1000 to 10,000,000 and an isocyanate compound: colloidal silica; and a quaternary ammonium salt. In addition, the dye- permeable/ink absorptive layer is composed mainly of a rosary-like connected and/or branched colloidal silioa and a watersoluble polymer. The oolloidal silica is a colloidal dispersion liquid consisting of ultrafine grains of silica dispersed stably in water or a solvent. |
