PURPOSE: To obtain a photographic sensitive material having stable performance and to obtain color prints at high yield even when the period after the production of the photosensitive material to the development is long. CONSTITUTION: This silver halide color photographic photosensitive material has at least each one layer of red-sensitive layer, greensensitive layer and blue- sensitive layer on a supporting body. The stability parameter (μ) of the photosensitive material satisfiesμ<=0.05 between such a case as the photosensitive material is developed after subjected to treatment (a) and such a case as the material is developed after subjected to only treatment (b). In the treatment (a), (1) the photosensitive material is stored in an environment at 45 deg.C and 40 %RH for three weeks before exposure, (2) the material is exposed at 1/200sec shutter speed with using a light source having 5500 color temp., and an optical wedge, and (3) then the material is stored in an environment at 40 deg.C and 20% RH for four weeks. In the treatment (b), the photosensitive material is exposed at 1/200sec shutter speed using a light source having 5500K color temp. and the optical wedge.
