PURPOSE: To enhance visibility in the guiding direction at places where guiding lanes are joined and separated by making disposal intervals for the guidance installation along the passage direction within each junction of the guidance installation narrower than those for general passage sections. CONSTITUTION: Straight lines represent a part of a junction for each guiding lane U, and white circles represent each guiding lamp L. When guiding lamps are disposed along the passage direction in each passage, and when guiding lamps are disposed at equal intervals (a) at passages other than the junction, the guiding lamps shall be disposed at equal intervals (c) (c<a) in the junction of the passage. The lighting guidance installation as mentioned above thereby enables a person who is being guided, to recognize the direction to be guided at the junction of the passage of each guiding lane even if its passage is narrow in width, even if the interval of each guiding lamp is extremely long, and even if a vehicle is in a special running pattern with the light turned on and off. |
