<p>The system includes a card (14) reader with a card slot (18). A punch unit, in a set position with respect to the card slot, which has a punch tool (22) which moves between a rest position above the card slot to a position, when actuated, where it crosses the card slot. A control unit which determines, when the card is inserted in the slot (18), if the data on the card (14) conforms to predetermined criteria. The unit (8) also controls the punch, and is designed to be used with memory cards (14) having a hole (16) formed in them at a predetermined place which corresponds to the punch (21) position with respect to the card slot (18).</p> |
