PURPOSE: To obtain the subject recording paper capable of preventing dye stain of a non-image part, reducing a remaining dye on printed paper after transfer and forming an image having clear light and shade by laying a dye coloring preventing layer on a dielectric layer of electrostatic recording paper for an ionic printer. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric layer of electrostatic recording paper is made into a dye coloring preventing layer composed of a material having poor dyeability with a colorant such as dye contained in a developing agent or the surface of the dielectric layer is supplied with a dye coloring preventing layer. Dye is readily sublimated and transferred from the dielectric layer to cloth and transfer of dye to the non-image part of cloth is suppressed.
