<p>Peptide sequences that correspond to the amino terminal domain of a sperm-specific tyrosine kinase are disclosed. The peptides are able to block the binding of human sperm to human zona pellucida, the egg-specific extracellular matrix. Thus, the peptides block the interaction between sperm and egg. The peptides are used in contraceptive strategies.</p> |
