PURPOSE: To provide a pixel array body capable substantially minimizing the optional synthetic movement of the optical center of one ON pixel, a pixel arraying method and a color gradation display element having pixels. CONSTITUTION: Many lighting primary color sub-pixel areas are respectively provided with many lighting areas having pixel patterns each of which consisting of many pixels and capable of seting up whether each primary color sub-pixel area is in an ON state or a non-ON state. The sub-pixel areas are substantially spread from one side of pixels up to the other side in a 1st direction, but in a 2nd direction substantially vertical to the 1st direction, the sub-pixel areas are included only in a restricted range of pixels. The lighting areas 42 to 47 are arranged so that pixels can be turned on by intensity to be changed together with the brightness center to be substantially stable to the movement of the 1st direction and the brightness center in the 2nd direction can be substantially moved.
