<p>PURPOSE:To easily curl the mouth part of a container while eliminating the generation of a crack or strain by taking a means pressing the truncated cone- shaped part contracted in diameter downwardly of a roll to the flange part of the container while rotating the container and bending the flange part in an oblique downward direction. CONSTITUTION:When the mouth part 31 of a plastic container 3 is curled, at first, the plastic container 3 of which the mouth part 31 has a flange part 30 at the opening end part thereof is produced. Next, the slope of a first roll 1 having a truncated cone-shaped part 12 contracted in diameter downwardly is pressed to the flange part 30 in such a state that a chuck 4 is inserted in the opening end part while the container is rotated around its axis to bend the flange part 30 in an oblique downward direction. Continuously, the truncated cone-shaped part 21 contracted in diameter downwardly and a second roll 2 having the conical part 22 continued to the lower part thereof are used and the side surface of the conical part 22 is pressed to the flange part 30 in such a state that the second roll 2 is heated to curl the flange part 30. By this constitution, the generation of a crack or strain is eliminated.</p> |
