DEVICE HAVING AT LEAST TWO DIFFERENT-DISPLAY- MODE-TYPE DISPLAY MONITORS PROVIDED ADJACENTLY TO EACH OTHER, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THEM

PURPOSE: To watch plural display monitors of different display modes without flickering by using a synchronizing link for synchronizing the operation of display monitors of different modes arranged adjacently to each other. CONSTITUTION: Two display monitors I and II are installed adjacent to each other and operate in different modes. The display monitor II on a left side operates a stereo display mode. Then a pair of spectacles 1 with shutters which an observer wears accurately assigns an aerial photograph to eyes and operate synchronizing with a frame alternate frequency. In this case the two monitors I and II are synchronized by a synchronizing device 2 and a synchronizing link. The device 2 executes not only the synchronizing of the spectacles 1 but the synchronizing of the two display monitors I and II. Thereby, a trouble does not appear in spite of looking at the monoscope display monitor II by the periphery of a visual field covered with the spectacles 1 while observing the monitor I.
