PURPOSE:To obtain a cross-coil type meter driving device that is applicable for every kinds of gauges by connecting a resistance in serial to a sensor and preparing a signal voltage generating means, etc., to output the voltage at a connection point as a signal voltage. CONSTITUTION:In a signal voltage generating means 1, a resistance 11 is connected in serial with a sensor 12 and a voltage at a connection point is outputted as a signal voltage. A level shift means 2 shifts the level in such a way that the output voltage will be zero when a resistance value RS of the sensor 12 is the minimum. A signal voltage conversion means 3 amplifies and attenuates the voltage so that it may be equal to a constant voltage value that is set at the maximum of the resistance value RS of the sensor 12, and outputs coils 5, 6 and 7. The coils 5 and 6 generate a magnetic field for turning a pointer of a meter. Thus, the title device can be used to every kinds of gauges by only changing level shift values and amplification or attenuation values. |
