Binding (1) for snow shoes (4) consisting of a plate (2) rotatably movable about a pin (3). The binding comprises, near its front end, attachment means for translatably and rotatably immobilizing, with respect to the plate (2), a boot (5) comprising corresponding retaining means on its front portion. The binding is characterized in that the device for manually locking and unlocking said attachment means is located behind the pin (3).
