A damping device has a supporting body 2 of plastics and/or rubber, with at least one threaded member recessed into or projecting therefrom. The threaded member is formed by deep drawing and may be recessed into the body e.g. as a nut 3 with an internal thread 17 or project from the body e.g. as bolt 4 with an external thread 28. The threaded member has a flange 11, 25 and may be located onto the front face 12, 23 of the body 2 or be flush therewith. The nut may be formed with a bulge 15 at its innermost end to increase the tear resistance. The flange may have perforations 32.
