Driver for piezoelectric actuator and shutter control device utilizing piezoelectric device

Shutter control devices for a camera, utilizing piezoelectric actuators, are disclosed. A set of levers are rotated by a piezoelectric actuator to operate a shutter of the camera. Further levers are provided which interact to provide the actuator with an impact force upon completion of shutter operation and to produce a voltage within the actuator. A circuit is provided to sense the voltage produced and induce operation of a discharge tube.
