PURPOSE:To obtain a cosmetic blended with a polysaccharide having skin- beautifying activity and high moistening effect. CONSTITUTION:This cosmetic contains a polysaccharide having the following physical and chemical properties. (1) The constituent saccharides comprise three kinds of D-galacturonic acid, L-rhamnose and D-glucose. (2) The constituent molar ratio of D-galacturonic acid: L-rhamnose: D-glucose is (0.6-1.0):(0.8-1.2):(0.8-1.2). (3) Molecular weight measured by using gel filtration chromatography is about 1X10<3> to 10X10<6>. |
