<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a fancy veneer overlaid plywood which presents humidity control action by forming it of a metal plate, a moisture absorbing/draining sheet which is stuck together to the metal plate with an adhesive, and a woody fancy veneer which is stuck together to the sheet through a steam permeable adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:On a base plate 1 of a metal plate, a sheet 3 is stuck together by an adhesive 2. For the adhesive 2, an adhesive of acrylic resin is used in order to firmly attach the sheet 3 to the base plate 1. For the sheet 3, one or two kinds of sheets of unwoven cloth, paper, knitted woven cloth consisting of singly a highly moisture absorbing fiber or the highly moisture absorbing fiber and other fiber are used. To the sheet 3 having moisture absorbing/draining property, a woody fancy veneer 5 is stuck together by an adhesive 4. For the adhesive 4, the adhesive layer itself should have a porous structure and steam permeability so as not to damage the moisture absorbing/draining property of the sheet 3. Accordingly, for example, an emulsion adhesive of acrylic ester and vinyl acetate and a rubber latex adhesive are used for the adhesive 4.</p> |
