Method of joining glass element wholly or partly bordered by metal foil

Three-dimensional arrangement of glass elements is formed by soldering together one or several glass elements (1), coated with a metal foil e.g. Cu foil or a Cu strip (3,4), and a metal sheet blank (5), running in a vertical or inclined plane. The sheet blanks consist of strips of equal or different thicknesses. Glass pieces may be alternately soldered together with and without sheet blanks.
