<p>PURPOSE:To analyze the output variation of a sensor and stably manage the output performance of the sensor by accurately predicting the remaining service life of the sensor from the result of the analysis by providing a calculating means and predicting means. CONSTITUTION:At the time of predicting the remaining service life of a sensor from the output variation of the sensor, a calculating means first calculates the allowable amount of use of the sensor until the output of the sensor reaches a second level based on the amount of the sensor used until the output of the sensor reaches a first level. Then the remaining service life of the sensor is predicted from the allowable amount of use calculated by the calculating means. Namely, the remaining service life from the present point of time can be accurately predicted when the medium detecting amount of the sensor and analyzed results of detecting conditions of the sensor, such as the ambient conditions, etc., which have changed the output of the sensor are found. Therefore, the surface cleaning timing of the sensor can be accurately decided and the sensor can be managed in a highly reliable state, because the output performance of the sensor can be stably managed always above the using limit.</p> |
