The equipment is mounted in the vehicle, in the air distribution passages of the conditioning, heating and ventilation of the passenger compartment. It eliminates accumulated thermal energy in the air conditioning passages (12,13,14), if the vehicle is exposed to sunlight when stopped for long periods. An auxiliary shuttered (17) passage (19) connects the conditioner front air output and an air suction fan (3) to the distribution zone (8) passage (20), with another shutter (21) to evacuate used air to outside. The auxiliary passage shutter may divert the air stream from the lower passenger area, up or downstream, to cool the air. A further shutter (2) may isolate internal and external air.
