PURPOSE:To reduce the work volume of a staff to reduce personnel expenses by using an issued medium to adjust the amount of money of a transaction in an adjustment device, which is installed by an exit, by a customer himself. CONSTITUTION:The customer receives commodities registered in a transaction processing device 2, a recycle ticket issued from the device 2, and a receipt from a register and goes to an exit 4. The customer inserts the recycle ticket to the card processing part of an adjustment device 7 at the exit 4. The customer adjusts the amount of money of the transaction in accordance with the message displayed on a display part. utter the adjustment of the amount of money of the transaction, the adjustment device 7 issues the slip, where the adjustment result of the amount of money of the transaction is printed, from a printer. The adjustment device 7 outputs a gate open instruction to a sate open/close device 6 from a communication part. The sate open/close device 6 opens a sate 5 when receiving the gate open instruction outputted from the adjustment device 7. Then, the gate open/close device 6 closes the gate 5 when passage of the customer is detected by a sensor. |
