PURPOSE:To improve the burning resistance and moisture absorptive resistance of the titled welding electrode by specifying the roughness of the coated surface of the non-low-hydrogen type coated electrode. CONSTITUTION:The non-low-hydrogen type coated electrode has the coated surface with the 1.5-5.5mum average roughness (Ra) of a center line provided in JIS B0601-1982. By this method, the moisture absorptive resistance of the non-low-hydrogen type electrode can be attained without causing a harmful effect such as a deterioration of the burning resistance of the electrode, etc., and its adaptive range is wide. |
