PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease of a printing quality by detecting print skip, a print omission in a printing mechanism and informing it. CONSTITUTION:A CCD line sensor 12 is installed at the side of a print head 11. A print skip, a print omission is detected by sensing it simultaneously upon printing. As a result, when the skip is detected, it is again printed. When the omission is detected, an alarm is informed by an alarm sound, etc. When the skip is detected, it is immediately informed. |
