A vibromasseur has a body (1), battery (3) and is fitted with a switch (2). An oscillating ceramic electrode (9) is supported by a base electrode (8) which is driven by an oscillating current supplied from external plugs (10) (11) and conductors (5). The ceramic electrode (9) may be removed and replaced by another electrode (6) bearing a sponge (7) which carries medical or beauty preparations. The new electrode (6) is energised at a positive potential (4) (13) (12) thus assisting in conveying the medication to the area of attention.
