A cleansing vessel is supplied with floating filter material which cleanses the surface water using capillary force. The water is then removed via a lower channel outlet. A floating channel is pref. connected to the filter material and guides a flexible channel connection through the vessel. A number of elements are pref. located next to one another and are connected via a collection line.
