A box for the transport of food which comprises one or more tapered tabs (15) projecting above the general plane of its upper surface and, on its lower surface, in positions corresponding to the tabs, an equivalent number of detents (19). The tabs are formed from the blank from which the box is made and project upwardly from the general plane formed by the top of the box walls. The extent of projection is in the order of a few millimeters and the tabs are tapered so that they are narrower at their top portions than they are further down to aid initial registration but reduce or eliminate movement between the boxes. |
