PURPOSE:To reduce an butt gap quantity so as to obtain sound weld zone by placing one of a work in which the face irradiated by laser beam becomes an upper face in the time of laser beam cutting and placing the other in which the face irradiated by laser beam becomes a lower face. CONSTITUTION:In executing laser beam welding while cutting faces of laser beam cut members are butted, as for the laser beam cut works 7, 8, one work 8 is placed in which the face irradiated by laser beam becomes an upper face and the other work 7 is as reversed and then both are butted, by irradiating laser beam to the butted part from upper face or rear face, welding is executed. By this method, the laser beam weld zone has reduced butt gap so as to obtain sound welding quality. |
