PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of safety boots which include step-through preventing plates and of which safety is further increased.SOLUTION: A step-through preventing plate 30 is configured to include a first protective plate 31 comprising a steel plate, and a second protective plate 32 comprising a laminated fiber and stacked on the whole surface of the top surface of the first protective plate 31. Additionally, both the first protective plate 31 and the second protective plate 32 have specified piercing resistance performance. The first protective plate 31 is set to have a size which is smaller than the shoe tree of the safety boots 11 for the prevention of damage from the inside of the boots. On the other hand, the second protective plate 32 is set to have approximately the same size as the shoe tree of the safety boots 11. Therefore, when the step-through preventing plate 30 is set in the safety boots 11, the second protective plate 32 covers a range from the outer edge of the range for the step-through prevention by the first protective plate 31 to the end of the shoe bottom. Thus, as shown by a two-dot chain line in the figure, step-through in a range which cannot be covered by the first protective plate 31 can be prevented from occurring. |
