PURPOSE:To stabilize liquid crystal drive by enabling the external-connection electrode terminal portion of a liquid-crystal display device to be connected to the conductive line of a heat seal connector smoothly and firmly. CONSTITUTION:The external-connection electrode terminal portion 2 of a liquid- crystal display device 10 is positioned with respect to the conductive line 23 of a heat seal connector 20. Next, this stack is pressed from the conductive line 23 of the heat seal connector 20 by a thermocompression bonding jig 30 which has a plurality of projecting and recessed parts 34 on its pressing surface.
