PURPOSE:To plot display graphics in an instructed color regardless of the existence of another graphics in the background at the time of plotting a polygon by the edge fill method. CONSTITUTION:A control plane is provided independently of the plotting plane whose contents are displayed on a display device 5. On the control plane, the edge fill method is applied to plot a polygon. The polygon plotted on the control plane is copied, thereby plotting it on the plotting plane. Thus, the polygon is plotted in the instructed color without an effect of the background picture already existing on the plotting plane because the processing of the edge fill method is not performed on the plotting plane. |
