PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous design of a destination by displaying a present position measured by the radio wave of a GPS satellite and the position of a destination received from the outside. CONSTITUTION:A radio wave from a GPS satellite is received, and a present position is measured by GPS receiving means 1. Map data is called from memory means 2, measured present position data is operated by arithmetic means 3, and the present position is mark-displayed on the map screen of display means 5. Then, the position information of a destination is received by destination position information receiving means 4, the position of the destination is detected by the means 3, map data is called from the means 2, the position of the destination is calculated, and the position of the destination is mark- displayed on the map screen of the means 5. Further, the distance and the direction from the present position to the position of the destination are operated by the means 3, a shortest distance is detected, and displayed on the screen of the means 5. Thus, it can be automatically set without manually setting the destination. |
