<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a radar-video transmitting apparatus and transmitting method, which can perform a quick, qualified detection of the occurrence of interference. CONSTITUTION:A sweep counter 108 outputs a sweep-number signal, which divides the entire searching region in the sweeping direction into two kinds of small regions. Sweep averaging devices 102 and A134 output the sweep averaging signals of normal-video signals, respectively. A sweep averaging signal 111 for every first small region further undergoes the averaging in the scanning direction, and video data 114 representing the first small region are formed. An interference detector 124 judges the presence or absence of the interference signal by the comparison of AVA data. One of two video data 131 and 132, to which messages are added, is switched with a data selector (1) 127 based on the presence or absence of the judged interference signal and outputted. Thus, two kinds of the video data having the different averaging depths are switched based on the presence or absence of the interference signal and can be transmitted.</p> |
