PURPOSE:To judge a breakaway from a traveling lane as considering the habit (individuality) of a driver in respect of a driving method. CONSTITUTION:A point setting means 12 sets a first and a second breakaway judging points at positions distant ahead by prescribed distance from one's own vehicle, and a third and a fourth breakaway judging points at the both the sides of one's own vehicle. A breakaway judging means 13 judges the breakaway for the reason that one of the breakaway judging point, at least, has broken away from a side edge or a judging line set inside the side edge. A traveling tendency detecting means 14 detects a traveling tendency on the basis of the deflection of ones own vehicle from the center line of the traveling lane. On the basis of the traveling tendency, a correcting means 15 changes the set positions of the first to the fourth breakaway judging points. |
