PURPOSE:To prevent flickering of the display of a train speedometer due to overlapping of BCD code by operating characteristics in which the rise of a photocoupler is fast and the fall is slow when speed signal output means outputs a speed signal for switching the speed display of a train by switching the ON and OFF of the photocoupler. CONSTITUTION:Processing means 14 calculates a train speed based on a signal from a tachometer generator. When speed signal output means 16 outputs a speed signal to the digital speedometer of a train, specific data output processing means 17 compares the speed of previous time with the speed of this time, outputs, if there is a change, specific data for a predetermined time at the time of switching ON and OFF of a photocoupler and then outputs a speed after the change, thereby preventing overlapping of a BCD code and preventing flickering of the display. The specific data may be zero output, one decimal output or no display output. |
