A process for producing vehicle-hubcap rings which starts with a reel of steel wire which is connected to a transfer machine equipped with a rotating disc. The disc has a number of stations or work posts, at each one of which there are resulting mechanisms and controls of quality and statistical control of each operation to be carried out. With this solution, total quality of the rings is achieved and their reliability is assured. <IMAGE>
