PURPOSE: To obtain an offset press, in which inking roller and a plate cylinder can be adjusted automatically to optimal conditions, through a simple means. CONSTITUTION: This offset press comprises a frame 1 which rotatably mounts at least one inking roller 2, and a cassette 4 being loaded removably to the frame 1 while supporting a plate cylinder 5 having a plate and a blanket cylinder 6 in tangential state. The inking roller 2 has a pliable circumferential side face layer receiving ink and moisture from an inking unit and a humidifier, and when the cassette 4 is loaded to the frame 1 through the circumferential side face layer, the cassette 4 comes into press contact with the plate cylinder 5 supported on the cassette 4. A covering having variable thickness is interposed between the plate of the plate cylinder and the cylinder body. |
