INFORMATION DISCRIMINATION SHEET AND DISCRIMINATION METHOD

PURPOSE:To prepare an information discrimination sheet having excellent froudproofness and provide an information discrimination method. CONSTITUTION:This information discrimination sheet contains fluorescent small pieces randomly distributed in a substrate. The fluorescent small piece is composed of a polyester resin dyed with a fluorescent disperse dye and has a color fastness of class 4 or higher in conformity with JIS L0843 using a xenon arc light. The random pattern of the fluorescent fine pieces in the substrate can be read out or recorded as visible information by irradiating the substrate with ultraviolet rays of 200-380nm wavelength and the sheet can be identified by the random pattern information. The information discrimination sheet having the random pattern of the pulp is a so-called 'paperprint' corresponding to fingerprint and characteristic to individual sheet and, accordingly, it has extremely high froudproofness.
