PURPOSE:To high accurately perform air-tightness inspection in a pipe line by inflating a balloon type seal unit by an air pressure, so that separated two extending/contracting parts are air-tightly closely attached to two parts of a pipe internal surface, and sealing a cavity part between both the extending/ contracting parts and the pipe internal surface With an air-tight reinforcing liquid. CONSTITUTION:In the case of inspecting air-tightness of a pipe line 3, a seal means 20 in the point end of a coil wire 16 is inserted in a contraction condition to a prescribed part of the pipe line 3. Next through a gas tube 24, air A is introduced into a seal unit 23 to inflate it into gourd shape, and formed separated two extending/contracting parts 23a, 23b are closely attached to a pipe internal surface 3a. Then through a liquid tube 26, an air-tight reinforcing liquid C is supplied to a cavity part formed of both the extending/contracting parts 23a, 23b and the pipe internal surface 3a, and the liquid C containing air to overflow is circulated so as to be returned by an air bleed tube 27. In this way, pressure air is supplied into the closed pipe line 3, to inspect an air-tight condition of the pipe line 3 from changing a pressure gage at this time. |
